I'm just an average 22 year old college student, currently living in Iowa. I love fiction books, mostly romance.
Laguna Sights novel is better than I expected it to be. I had opinions formed about Scott already from reading Laguna Lights. I didn't like Scott at first because of how he ended things with Laura and joining a dating app behind her back when they were still together. In Laguna Sights, the way Laura is described made me dislike her, even though I read Laguna Lights. Together, Laura and Scott are toxic. It was good to see a the two characters in a different light. This novel certainly changed my opinion and made Scott seem like a very kind, patient, and caring person.
Jamie seems like a nice person, but she lacks the ability to stand up for herself for the majority of the book. Considering her past, it makes sense. I was proud of her when she worked up the nerve or courage to stand up for herself.
The book reminded me of a short story. There wasn't a lot that went in if read as a stand alone. It did bring closure to Scott's story and answered some questions brought on in Laguna Lights.
I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.
